This was a huge project involving a wonderful Penthouse Apartment set on the picturesque St Pauls Square in Birmingham. Not touched since the 1980's, the property was originally an office which had been partly converted to residential but left in a half finished state for years.
With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, set over nearly 2,000 square feet and with a private elavator into the property, this apartment had so much potential and we couldn't wait to get started.
We stripped much of it back to bare brick, remodelled the layout to include a new bathroom and utility room, opened up the living space to create an open plan Kitchen/Living area, removed the conservatory to provide a much needed outdoor terrace space, rewired, plastered/replastered, redecorated and styled the whole property.
We added further value to the property in the following ways:
Again, this property wasn't without it's pitfalls and involved various delays due to historical planning permission, Management company permission and many historical issues that affect adjoined buildings with multiple lease issues, but we managed to complete the work to the highest standards and the owners listed the property for double what they paid for it, only two years prior and it sold quickly.
A truly ambitious project for all involved, but a hugely successfull one which enables the owners to really maximise the potential and value of this spectacular city centre Penthouse Apartment. Please take alook at our before/after photos and our main portfolio photos below.
