This property at Amazon Lofts in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter was a complete renovation and remodel. With two floors to develop, we were able to really maximise the full potential of the property, which had been somewhat lost over time as it was largely in the same condition as when it was first converted some years earlier. For this type of property, we had a lot of space to work with, which always helps provide more options.
Working with City Centre leasehold apartments is always tricky due to needing specific permission from a seemingly whole host of management companies and leasehold agents, but in the end we completed a full re-model which included opening up the once enclosed stairwell, installing a custom glass ballustrade and feature hanging lighting, splitting the second bedroom into a bedroom and separate office, installing glass block features to bring day light through, converting the master bedroom into a full master suite to include dressing room and en-suite and creating a real 'wow factor' entrance hall and reception area.
It wasn't without it's challenges however, as we had to move and reconfigure the stairs and install structural beams, but we managed to develop every inch of the property and help the owners achieve a selling price that was way above their expectations.
